Our studio's philosophy is that a home needs to be both beautiful and functional and we work closely with our clients to understand their needs, desires and aesthetic to deliver this outcome.
Our Story
Pitch Studio was conceived at the University of Technology when Harriet and Russell met in 2011 while completing their Masters of Architecture. The studio has a focus on residential architecture and interiors. The range of services we provide allows our clients to move seamlessly through the design process from initial concept/feasibility to the final selection and placement of furniture. Our experience and wealth of knowledge allows are clients to feel confident and assured throughout the process.

Director & Interior Design Principle
Harriet, interior designer and founder of Pitch Studio, believes that a beautiful interior
has the power to transform daily life. She is passionate about ensuring that a home is both
beautiful and functional because, at its heart, a home is a place to be lived in by you and
your family.
Harriet has a Masters of Architecture (UTS) and Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration (CATC). With over 8 years’ experience working on high end residential interior design projects, Harriet has developed a practiced eye for modern yet timeless style and has honed her skills in delivering bespoke and clever interior design solutions.
Over the course of her career she has delivered a wide variety of projects, ranging from
interior decoration and styling, bespoke joinery through to interior and building design for
complete house renovations. She has also developed an in-depth knowledge of made-to-measure furniture and window furnishings.
Harriet’s interior design work on Hordern House (while working with Kate Nixon of Busatti)
has been the recipient of a number of awards, including:

Russell, Architect and founder of Pitch Studio, believes that Architecture can always enhance and improve the way we live our lives. Drawing on his knowledge of 15 years in the industry no matter the scale there is always a way to achieves excellence in a project.
Russell has a Masters in Architecture (UTS), Bachelor Science in Architecture, he is a NSW registered Architect and a registered design practitioner.
Russell has cultivated a prolific portfolio of projects. Originally beginning his career as a student working for Bolles-Wilson in Germany, returning to Australia he has worked at award winning firms Suters Architects, Architectus and Rothelowman. Russell has now built projects in NSW, QLD, VIC and SA at all scales and typologies.
A highlight of Russell’s career was the bestowment of the 2016 NSW AIA Residential award for Dunstan Grove, Lindfield NSW.
Russell sees himself well versed in the challenging part of projects, his strength is to represent his client and maintain the objectives of the design. Contract negotiations, project delivery and signing on with builders, Russell always ensures there is a mutually beneficial outcome in every project. He is inspired by the thought that each brief is a new opportunity to push the realms of client expectation.
